The 41st Ward is a community comprised of the neighborhoods of Norwood Park, Oriole Park, Edison Park, Wildwood, Edgebrook, and O’Hare Airport. Known as the “suburb within the city,” the 41st Ward has always been a destination for residents who are looking for a nice and tranquil place to call home.
As the largest ward in Chicago by area, our citizens benefit from a wide range of civic, cultural, religious, and business institutions that make our community a vibrant place to live. From the family-oriented neighborhoods to a world-class airport, the 41st Ward is as diverse as it is talented.
The 41st Ward is home to a dedicated and talented work force comprised of city workers, doctors, lawyers, grocers, manufacturers and much more. And our schools, both public and parochial, rank among the best in the state as a result of committed students and educators, as well as the generous support of our residents.
Many of our longtime residents have lived in the 41st Ward for their entire lives and each year we welcome new members to our community who are attracted by its housing stock, schools, and jobs.
